Waving to Oscar


Speaking of Oscar, there he is!

Today I didn’t read any more of ‘To Save Everything’. I left it on the couch this morning. And no spare book to fall back on! I think Thursday after work I’ll have to do race through it, at least it’ll still be fresh for the discussion.

I ran down to Hodges Figgis at lunchtime, it might be just a little too far for a random lunchtime visit, this is probably a good thing really. But I bought a new Maigret book, The Yellow Dog. I know I shouldn’t, but I can justify it because my husband will appreciate it more than me. We’ve bought a few of the newly translated versions and I claimed I had some others, but it seemed that for some reason my granddad had bought them in French…
